Keep Cool II

This project, which is part of the SAVE-ALTENER-STEER and HORIZONTAL KEY ACTIONS programme, will be launched in January 2008. Its aim is to contribute to a broad market transformation from cooling to sustainable summer comfort.

The project's aim is to achieve good summer comfort conditions with limited or no use of conventional energy and through the use of materials which do not harm the environment. ES-SO's active role will mainly involve 'analysis and market transformation'. This means that it will contribute to several working packages, in particular by reporting on the products and systems available and in communicating these results to interested parties such as international conferences, the educational system, publications, etc.
