EEW
In the beginning of 2006, Parliamentarians of the European Parliament and of EU Member States created the Energy-Efficiency-Watch-Initiative (EEWI) and called for an Energy-Efficiency-Watch (EEW). ES-SO being invited to join the EEW-initiative became a member since 2008 and has joined the second EEW-project running from 2010-2013.
EEW has made available a brochure on promoting energy effciciency measures and best practices around Europe. See

REHVA
Is the Federation of European Heating and Air Conditioning Associations and was founded in 1963. REHVA represents more than 100.000 engineers from 29 European countries and its main activity is to develop and disseminate economical, energy-efficient and healthy technology for building services. ES-SO, the European Solar-Shading Organization, is involved in energy efficiency for buildings and therefore clearly has partly similar goals.

BUILD UP
Since 16 June 2009 BUILD UP is the new environment for building professionals, local authorities and building occupants willing to share their experience on how to cut energy consumption in buildings. The key aim of this initiative is to reduce the energy consumption of buildings accross Europe by transferring best practices to the market fostering their uptake. Late October 2009 ES-SO joined the BUILD UP initiative as a Patner, following an invitation from the European Commission. See www.buildup.eu and our special webportal
