Explanation
ES-SO is a non-profit making umbrella organisation, and is an association of the solar shading industry's national professional associations from the EU member states. This also makes ES-SO a very objective association. All the national associations are ES-SO full members and have voting rights.
However, not every EU country's solar shading industry has a professional association. In these cases, or whenever there is a national association which has not chosen to join ES-SO, we recruit prominent companies from the solar shading industry which share ES-SO's ideals and objectives. These companies become associate members.
