External roller blinds

This product is a box installed in the window head containing a blind - a weather-resistant fabric - with side channels or cables allowing users to guide the blind upwards into the box or downwards to cover the glazing. The blind can be coloured and/or have different levels of opacity, providing a degree of glare control (and views out). Suitable for shading facades and roofs with complex geometries.

General properties

Thermal comfort Passive heating Insulation	*****	Allows maximum solar gains when fully retracted unlike sun protection glazing which always blocks part of the free solar gains.
Visual comfort Daylight	****	Reduces glare, but keeps the view and daylight, ensuring both comfort and productivity.
Night cooling Ventilation	***	External roller blinds with higher openness factor in combination with open windows provide comfortable night-time ventilation.
Wind resistance	****	Side-channel systems are much more wind-resistant than cable systems, making them the preferred choice for exposed facades or higher buildings.
Operability	*****	External roller blinds perform best when operated automatically, maximising energy savings and comfort.
Maintenance	****	Inspect fabric and channels or cables. Access to the motor in the blind box is required.
